Our Oceans - Our Future Our Past, Our Present And Whatever Remains Of Our Future, Absolutely Depends On What We Do Now” – Sylvia Earle, Oceanographer. Presently terrorism is considered as world’s biggest threat towards the safety and preservation of human lives. However, there is one more threat which silently headed our way. The marine pollution poses severe threat to life under water as well as for land based lives. Our rainwater, drinking water, weather, climate, coastlines, much of our food, and even the oxygen in the air we breathe, are all ultimately provided and regulated by the sea. Throughout history, oceans and seas have been vital medium for trade and transportation. The marine pollution reflects, the various kinds of contamination to sea waters mainly due to human created wastages, which is in varied forms of  chemicals, plastics, insoluble particles, un-treated sewerage water, CO2 emission by sea transport, oil spillages by any incident to t...

Lets GO.. Naran..! - A Journey To The Virtual Paradise

"Traveling – it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.” – Ibn Battuta Yes that's right..! After sharing too much sorrows, pain and negativity in my previous articles that we all face in our daily life from one corner of the country to another end, this is the time to share a beautiful & speechless journey I have experienced in my very own country Pakistan. Near about 260 KM from Country's Capital Territory Islamabad, at more than 8,000 feet above sea level there is a paradise on earth naming as "Naran Valley" in province Khyber Pakhtunkhwa , located at river bank of "Kunhar River" originating from the glaciers of "Malka Parbhat" and other high peak glaciers flowing through Naran, Kaghan, Balakot, Gharhi HabibUllah and others with an ending merger to River Jehlum in Muzzafarabad, Azad Kashmir. I was visiting Islamabad due to some family matters for three days starting from 13th Aug to 16th Aug'15 wit...

OUR HAUNTED LIVES

Provision of quality life in means of proper education, water and electricity are the part of core responsibilities of the Govt. as based on basic human rights as per the constitution of Pakistan. Just as Parents are responsible for their children similarly the State & Government is responsible to look after each and every citizen of the Country. The state is bounded by its constitution for providing the following basic needs: 1- Clean drinking water & electricity. 2- Standard medical facilities. 3- Ownership of the welfare of the orphans, poor, older age & widow. 4- Adequate transport facilities including roads and mass transit systems. 5- Recreational options, like parks, sports grounds & others. Despite the above mandatory responsibilities of State whether we term it as our own misfortune or fate, the so called leaders who are governing us for more than 60 years have failed to provide basic human needs. At the time of creation our forefathers had not...

Marvi Memon - A Leading Benchmark Of Hypocrisy!

One of the frontliners of Mushrraf's Regime, Ms. Marvi Memon from her heartiest support for PML-Q, from declaring Imran Khan as the last hope for Pakistan, to assuming Nawaz Shareef as her ultimate leader, her intentions & political approach remains puzzling herself as well as making people confused about her personal ideology. She is well known for her confused political career, she was the lady on the frontlines who kept appearing in all prime time talk shows, kept on defending Pervaiz Mushrraf's all acts in high notes & true spirits on every single media house. There was a time when she considered Lal Masjid operation as the right step taken by her leader Mushrraf, she used to defend attacks on freedom of speech made by Mushrraf, there was the time when she spoke what Mushrraf wanted her to speak, it's all remembered when she loudly & clearly kept justifying Drones...! Bibi Marvi...! The people of Pakistan are more smarter than you, they remember each ...

KARACHI - A TOPSY-TURVY MAZE!

A city with over 23 million of population, being The Largest City Of The State & World's 2nd Largest City with respect to population within city limits. As a matter of fact, the city daily meets to various kind of negativities from terrorism, extortion, political unrest, land grabbing, underworld mafias, gangwars & etc, in simple words - a mismanaged city. Alongwith the extensive growth rate of population, the city also faces an annual growth of nearly 8% in its traffic; making a Topsy-Turvy maze for the Citizens to dare with routine travelling. Its unfortunate that non of the governments had ever owned the problems of the city specially and particularly transportation. Its shameful to mention here that Karachi has been recognised as world's largest city with no Mass-Transit System; indeed we are a nuclear state but failed to provide prpoer transportation facilities to citizens. Absence of master plans, unwilling leadership, public's distrust on traffic con...
